Alysa Diebolt
Fused Glass Art and Jewelry

Alysa Diebolt is a fused glass artist who is currently an undergraduate at Northern Michigan University pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing.

Following a tour of the Spectrum Glass Factory in Woodinville, Washington in 2003, her interest in fused glass art was peaked by her tour guide, who was a glass fuser. Since that time fused glass has become her passion. In spite of, or perhaps, because of many catastrophes in the kiln, she is now able to truly express herself through her glass art work. 

During the summer months, When she is not in college, she is on the road in Michigan and Wisconsin displaying her work at no less than fifteen art fairs.

Some of Alysa's Accomplishments and honors are:

  • 2005 4-H Fine Arts State Award Winner
  • 2006 Dr. Bob Baker Purchase Award and Third place in Galss at Art for All in Iron Mountain, Michigan
  • 2007 Featured citizen in Daily Press Article; 20 under 20; in Escanaba, Michigan
  • 2007 Best in Glass Award at the Waterfront Art Festival in Escanaba, Michigan
  • Semi-finalist in  the ongoing New Business Venture Competition at Northern Michigan University's College of Business
