Jackie House's love of art at an early age blossomed into a fulfilling career as a professional artist and teacher. She received her bachelor of art studies from Wayne State University and has continued developing her artistic skills at Chicago Institute of Art, Northern Michigan University and Interlochen Arts Academy.

Jackie excels in watercolor, color pencil and pottery. Her artwork has been feaqtured in shows and galleries across Michigan including Detroit, Highland, Waterford, Lansing, Mackinaw as well in her home area of Gaylord and Grayling.

Jackie is a retired art teacher who has a studio in the woods north of Grayling where she lives with her musical husband.
