Justin LaDoux is a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design and is a para pro at Kirtland Community College. He has won several awards and has been accepted into several international competitions. Most recently LaDoux was one of less than 200 artist accepted out of over 1500 applicants in the Grand Rapids Art Prize competition with a sculpture of a lion welded from found objects. The public voting for the Art Prize takes place in September '09 and the first place winner receives an award of $250,000.00
